Reading is important!

You will be doing a lot of reading in this unit on East Asia.  Being able to understand what you are reading is extremely important.  Take the lessons and reading seriously.  Work to improve your reading comprehension skills.  Be able to pick out the "Big Idea".  Be able to make inferences.  See me for help on anything you are struggling with.  This skill is much more important than an understanding of East Asia history.
